So we kinda know what to expect in terms of look and feel; it will have that soft calming music that transports you straight into the Arabian nights, with beautiful women, handsome leads, evil vizier and wise old men.

And then, of course, there’s that magical lamp.

This Genie’s Touch mobile slot appears to have one big main feature that we can see; that of the magical lamp symbol.

If you get three or more, the pretty girl genie will pop out and replaces adjacent symbols with more of the same symbols around, instantly giving you multiple wins over 20 paylines.

It also has 10 free spins when triggered by 3 or more scatters, so it’s not the only feature in the game.

But the reasons we know the lamp symbol has more value is because during the free spins you don’t get multipliers, or more wilds, but more lamp symbols.

They better hope we freaking fall in love with that Genie’s Touch, because otherwise this whole slot machine will fall apart.

But if they are going to make the Genies Touch slot interesting then that Genies Touch is either going to have to show up often, or show up with some good wins when it does.

Our instincts are that it’s going to be the first rather than the second. It’s just what they do.

So are we that excited?

Honestly? Excited is not quite the word we’d use. On the other hand, it seems like all slots software providers are taking a break from ‘excitement’ this February.

IGT’s Hot Roll Super Time Pays and 100,000 Pyramid slots look ok, but neither seem earth shattering.

Even NetEnt’s Drive slot due out at the end of the month, on the 26th of February, kinda looks like a filler after their amazing Guns n Roses slot game release.

The new February Microgaming games look a little more interesting, but even thats just one game, with two different themes, so just a little on the lazy side.
