Sheriff Gaming have only recently started to release their slots on mobile, with only three prior examples to give us any clue as to how these next three will play.
Mr Good, is passably good fun, Spartania on the other hand is pretty but has no substance and only one, The Amsterdam Masterplan, managed to impress us with some decent wins and features. In an attempt to increase their portfolio, we get two releases in October, their iconic game Dr Magoo’s Adventure and the far more recent release of Frog Royale.
So what can we expect? Well, we are not too sure, other than the 3D graphics we’ve been use to seeing from Sheriff Gaming. But below you’ll find details of the games and our educated guess:
Dr Magoo’s Adventure – Out October 2nd
Sheriff Gaming’s iconic slot, this is the one that made them stand out of the pack and get everyone to pay attention.
There is a lot of controversy about this video slot however, with some saying that the return to player rate is 94%, and others saying it’s as low as 88%. We’ve had a few spins on the online version before, but it never really gripped us. Sure the graphics are beautiful, but if Spartania is anything to go by, in the mobile version Sheriff tone down the graphical element, so much so, that it might lose the main reason why people play this game. We will continue to make enquiries so we can write a proper review of the mobile version when it comes out.
Frog Royale – Out October 2nd
This 5 reel, 20 payline video slot came out earlier this year and is now getting the mobile treatment. It actually has a few fun features, again relying very much on it’s graphics to keep people playing, with a click me feature, a fun free spins feature and win instant prizes by collecting golden balls on the reels. We were particularly enamoured with the theme, as a classic story with a few funny twists. No big wins to be found here though, this is most definitely a low volatility slot.

Extreme – Out October 23rd
Ok, this one we are excited about. You may or may not have heard about this little hidden gem from Sheriff Gaming, but we’ve played online and been VERY happily surprised. This is a high variance slot that might take it’s inspiration from Starburst, but end up with it’s own unique identity and game play that is huge fun and stand on it’s own two gem bursting feet. If Sheriff can make sure the graphics do not slow it down, then this 20 payline mobile slot could be very interesting indeed. The free spins round is the one to watch out for, with 50x wild multiplier that can lead to a hefty €250,000 jackpot. Those are the kind of numbers to get excited about.
All in all, some very interesting choices from Sheriff Gaming. We actually look forward to reviewing these, as our experience with this supplier isn’t huge, but lately some of their online game have been particularly interesting. So we hope they bring those maths into the mobile slots.
We’ll keep you updated and let you know when they are available to play.
