So it comes as no surprise that the one online slot in this collection is the only one that’s ‘new’ in the traditional sense of ‘never seen before’.
Rather than ‘new’ in the ‘new slots for mobile‘ which we like to do.
Because, let’s be honest, with so many new slot releases every month, it’s hardly like you’re going to catch every last one.
So some of the names below will be recognisable, some you’ll have forgotten (rightly so), and others will have you dancing the night away to some monster beats.
As usual, we have a video for each. So if you’re feeling particularly lazy, you can just watch each of the slot videos and then decide for yourself whether you want to play.
We should point out that all the slots below will be available to play on April 8th at all good Microgaming casinos.
Rabbit in the Hat
It’s been a while since we’ve had a good 9 payline 5×5 reels Microgaming slot game.
And the Rabbit in the Hat slot looks very promising. Why? Well, we know for a fact that this slot is around the medium volatility scale. Meaning a well balanced game where you have the hope of good wins, but doesn’t take all your cash too quickly.
So that’s always a nice touch. We particularly love the psychotic bunny that claps when you win one of the magical features.
Who doesn’t love rabbits with a hint of murder in their eyes?
And you’ll have to keep your eye on that fluffy critter.
The bouncing magical reel hat!
A colourful hat magically appears on reel five and so the game is set. On each spin it will move by one reel to the left.
If a wild lands on the hat reel you’ll get either:
- Wild hat: turning up to three reels wild
- Cash hat: gives you a random amount of cash (looks like the most common)
- Free spin hat: gives you 10 free spins
- Mystery hat: awards you any of the three prizes above, randomly
The wondrous free spins:
Things get really interesting during the free spins, as each reel has a hat of it’s own. You can re-trigger the free spins up to an impressive 50, and win 90,000 coins
In addition, during the free spins feature, hats will appear above every reel, offering massive reward potential. On each free spin, a new hat will land above reel five, moving the hats along the reels to the left. Again, whenever a wild lands on a reel above a hat, a prize will appear like magic. Players can retrigger up to 50 free spins, with wins of up to 90,000 coins!
We calculated it. That’s an incredible 5,000 times your bet.
If we gave this online slot too much space in this new game preview, now you know why.
Rhyming Reels Georgie Porgie
Update: Read our full Rhyming Reels Georgie Porgie review for more details and insights.
This is actually not a very old game, comparatively speaking.
The Georgie Porgie video slot online came out back in October 2013, and was part of Microgaming’s ‘Rhyming Reels’ series, joining Jack & Jill and Old King Cole as a subject matter to spin.
It wasn’t well received and you can quickly see why. The theme is… kinda awful.
We get that the original rhyme is about a boy that was so damn ugly he made the girls cry when he kissed them, but… high school? Really? Suddenly you’ve got an ugly bullied smug kid, trying to kiss the popular hot girls, before the football team beats him up.
Bad taste?
As usual, it’s all about the free spins
At least this mobile and tablet slot comes with a solid free spin bonus feature, with some impressive multipliers. You can get anything from 15 to 25 free spins, with a 5x multiplier on every win.
The wild has a 5x multiplier on the reels anyway, but during the free spins that increases to an eye-popping 25x multiplier.
It will certainly make your eyes water, or cry with joy.

Boogie Monsters
Update: Out now to play on mobile find out more about it in our Boogie Monsters review.
Come on… isn’t the theme cool or what??
Those are some funky disco dancing monsters right there.
That said, it’s also one of the releases we know the least about. We know The Monster Boogie slot has 5 reels and 40 paylines.
We also know it has free spins and a click me bonus feature.
How well it pays is a mystery, and the video gives us no better clues as they cut off the big wins before they’ve ended.
All we can say is that we’re looking forward to jamming with a rock n roll witch and a disco wolf. Because how often in your lifetime do you get to say that sentence out loud?
Harveys
Update: Watch the video then head to our Harveys slot review for everything you need to know before you start playing.
This is by far, the one we were least looking forward to playing come the 8th of April 2015.
The Harvey’s video slot originally came out back in 2005. That’s 10 years ago! Almost a lifetime, in slot terms. What could it possibly bring to the table, with so many other new Microgaming slots coming along?
And then we remembered that a couple of our all time favourite games were none other than the wondrous Thunderstruck slot and the magical Avalon.
So, we decided to give Harvey’s the benefit of the doubt. Especially when you consider that there’s some interesting numbers here.
A poor theme, but some amazing free spins
Is it surprising?
The chef theme is dated and, to be honest, far too cheesy for us to enjoy it for very long.
But, we suspect that if we hit the free spin features early enough in our game play, we’ll probably consider never dining anywhere else.
The reason is simple, three champagne corks gets you a random number of free spins, anything from 6 to 30.
The beauty of this slot comes with the random multiplier that changes spin to spin, granting you a multiplier from 2x all the way to 25 times your bet.
From our calculation, that’s a top prize potential win of 2,000 times your bet. Not quite as high as Rabbit in the Hat, but that slot is not on mobile.
Harvey will be. And those are some serious numbers to play on the go.
