Mobile iPad Casino tips
The first thing you should always do is to bookmark the iPad mobile casino to the home screen of your Apple tablet. Don’t worry, nothing will download.
Why should you do this you ask? Two reasons:
- First, it means you can easily get to the casino slot sites whenever you want to play.
- Secondly, each good casino for iPad will, at this point, expand to cover the whole screen and remove the ugly browser bar at the top.
It will suddenly feel and look like a real iPad casino app… but without the heavy download onto your device.
This will mean that the mobile slots will take the full height and width of the screen, making for a more beautiful and immersive gambling experience. Nothing like full screen to make you feel like the your iPad casino is just a slightly smaller version of your desktop online gambling site.
To Download or not to Download?
Generally speaking we don’t like to download. When we play casino on tablet it tends to be over WiFi, with good internet connection, so why bother? Downloading a casino app for iPad takes space in the little memory you have available (better reserved for movies in our opinion) and the experience is generally not that much better on download.
There are a few exceptions, we grant you, but most of the mobile casino sites we mentioned above, and our favourite, are instant play casinos. Save them on your home screen and you’ll think you’re playing on an app anyway.
Downloads are good if you are not sure if your device is going to be compatible with the casino (ie. Android casinos). However, we’ve rarely come across a casino that wasn’t compatible with Apple’s groundbreaking tablet.
iPad casino real money software
Our list above are real money mobile casinos and each have different game software. Our list of most reliable and fun to play on iOS is as follows:
With Net Entertainment slots you won’t even notice the difference to its online original; Starburst keeps all its dazzling qualities in glorious technicolour.
BetSoft games are perfect for tablets as they tend to be a little slow if they are not played over WiFi. This is because they keep all the great 3D slots features we’ve come to know and love from online.
Microgaming slots are so deliciously faultless, we only wish they could be as brave as it’s big competitor Playtech and bring out bigger more graphically challenging slot games. Sure Thunderstruck II is amazing, but Playtech has a whole range of beautiful Age of Gods slots in the likes of the Age of Gods: Furious 4 and Age of Gods: Goddess of Wisdom.
NextGen Gaming could do with opening up the screen a little, as could the older IGT slots. But International Gaming Technologies have since realised their mistakes and have, over the last couple of years, given you pieces of art to stare at on our HD screen. (Namely the likes of Treasures of Troy and Pixies of the Forest.)
The casino software providers that tend to fare worse than the rest are actually the ones created specifically for mobile – such as OMI gaming, iGaming2Go and even, sometimes, Play’n Go. That’s because in their objective of trying to please everyone, they have simplified the casino experience to the point where you start to feel like you are, in fact, playing on a mobile phone casino but simply on a bigger screen.
What we want from the best iPad casino experience is to play the same mobile casino games we know and love online for real cash, but in our hands.
Because the whole point of your shiny Apple tablet is to lose yourself in a mobile gambling site to rival any online experience.
