And it’s not the theme. Look, it’s very pretty and all, with the northern lights cascading in the background and bright, vibrant berries all over the reels. When the symbols freeze, it does so beautifully glazing the fruits into convincing ice cubes. So the graphics are pretty.
It’s just a shame that it didn’t transport us anywhere. For that matter the annoying theme tune was reminiscent of a dark Caribbean jam that a pirate band put together. It didn’t quite fit or spark the imagination. But it’s certainly pretty.

Winterberries Bonus Features
Sticky Wins: Hit three or more symbols on a winning payline and those symbols will freeze before your very eyes. Winterberries slot on mobile will spin it's reels one more time (for free), and if any of that same symbol shows up, it too will freeze. And so on. Until the reels are filled or the frozen symbol doesn't show. You'll then be paid for the winning combinations on show.
Multiplying Reels: During the sticky winning symbols, if you fill consecutive reel columns with frozen symbols, from left to right, you can multiply your win. So if you fill reel one, it's just a x1 multiplier, or no multiplier. Fill reel 1 + 2 = 2x multiplier.
