Viz humour is an acquired taste. If you’ve never heard of this comic, chances are you didn’t grow up in the 80s or 90s as a teenage boy in Great Britain. And just like the Viz comic, this mobile slot is not particularly clever and particularly high hitting – with a Return to Player rate of 95.53%, this high volatility slot takes patience. So you have to be a fan of the simple graphics and the quirky characters (Two Fat Slags, Suicide Sid, Terry Fuckwit) to really fall in love with this slot. We were particularly disappointed with the sound effects. Considering the theme, a few comical sounds and some fun music would have made Viz jump up a little higher on our list.

That said, it plays incredibly well on both mobile and tablet, and the features, when they hit, are decent, with the potential for big wins – such as 200 Free Spins and 500x Multiplier. A simple click and pick game is made more fun by the characters themselves, and a ‘Deal or No Deal‘ free spin round brings a little excitement, especially as the maximum amount you could win is the aforementioned 200 free spins. Exciting indeed.

The ‘Wheel of Fartune’ bonus feature, equally, made us snigger when we hit it, proving there’s a 12 year old inside all of us (and a happy adult who enjoys multipliers on the outside). Sid’s “Sexpot Jackpot” (pun intended) also helps bring this slot back into our zone of interest, as one of the few progressive jackpots available for mobile play.
