We wanted to give the Tycoons mobile slot review more than 3 stars. It has a big progressive jackpot, which may not go up to the millions, but into enough thousands to make a difference. Also did we mention the theme? With an Arabian oil mogul, a Steve Jobs esque young rich guy, a lady with plenty of Old Money and what we can only describe as an Italian midget (mafia?) theme, even if stereotypical, is at least different from all the ‘living the high life’ type of slot machines. The Poker Feature, where you watch them play high stakes poker and you bet on who will win is particularly impressive.
So why were we not as impressed as we should be with this 3D BetSoft slot? Well, apart from the usual ‘loading every feature for the first time’ which is a little annoying but bearable, the game play is… well… a little slow. The return to player rate is only 95.34%, which makes this medium volatility slot neither high paying or with plenty of action.
This Tycoons slot game will have it’s followers in those who love highly graphical mobile slots, and the progressive jackpot will certainly help, but for us it lacked the Big Wins excitement of a high volatility slot, or the action and pace of a low volatility one.
