How To Play Pacific Paradise Mobile Slot
Dual symbols and stacked wilds gives this Pacific Paradise mobile slot a unique twist to what would have been an otherwise fairy hum-drum 720 Multiway Xtra slot.
IGT love their Multi-way Xtra slots. Mostly because you guys love them. And it’s true, it’s rare to have an IGT play session that doesn’t involve (for us) some spins on the Sushi Yum Yum slot, or the fierce Siberian Storm.
That said, we weren’t hugely impressed with the theme when we opened it up. The underwater world was pretty enough, with the reels floating in the open water, giving this Pacific Paradise room to breath.
That said, the symbols feel a bit lifeless and stuck on, like the fish are in stasis, until livened up with animations on a win.
Who cares? It has stacked wilds and double symbols!
We explain how the Mutli-way extra wins work in the feature section below, but basically, all you need to know is that the more stacked symbols you get, the bigger the multiplier you get on a win.
And The Pacific Paradise slot game ups the ante by giving you double symbols – so two clown fish in one for example – giving you a potential 10 of a kind win, instead of a 5 of a kind win.
Very much like you might find in the easier to play IGT slot Cats.
Easier to play, but without as big a potential win. Because not only do you have double symbols, but stacked wilds on reels 2, 3 and 4 – which count as double symbols to any wins it’s involved in.
Wow! The wins must keep on coming!
Euh… Not exactly. The Pacific Paradise video slot is really, really, high variance. Like, stupid high. That means big wins, but it can be a slow, and expensive, swim to the finish line.
The good news is that a big win could happen on any spin. Literally. The better news is that it’s more likely to happen during the free spins.
Mostly because, during the 10 bonus games, you have richer reels, with more frequent stacked wilds, which means bigger multipliers and double symbols.
But it’s not always easy to get to the free spins – it’s taken us a good 200 to 300 spins to get there, and with only a few ‘Hail-Mary’ wins to top up our budget when we thought all was lost.
Is the Pacific Paradise slot for everyone?
The starting bet of 0.60 a spin might be a little high for some, but generally, it will attract a wide audience.
Novice players will love the soft music and pretty spins, but to be honest, we’d probably recommend this to those of you who’ve played on mobile slots for a while.
You need a strong constitution, and know how to appreciate a game that could blow in the most impressive way, at any time…. and not be disappointed when it doesn’t.

Pacific Paradise Bonus Features
Stacked Wild Feature: The Pacific Paradise slot logo is wild and replaces all other symbols on the reels except scatter and bonus. It comes stacked on on reels 2, 3 and 4 in groups of four or more.
Double Symbols: You get two kind of symbols. One that counts as one symbol, the other as two symbols. Very much like you might find in the NetEnt slot Flowers.
MultiWay Xtra Wins: This is a 720 ways to win slot machine, and the way it works isn't as complicated as you might think.
Basically, you get a win if you have the same symbol on at least 3 reels, from left to right. Then you get a multiplier depending on how many of the same symbol you get on the same reel.
So, for example:
- Count the number symbols on the reels. To keep things simple, let's use an example without doubles. So you have 1 Ace on reel 1, 2 Ace on reel 2, 3 Ace on reel 3, and 1 Ace on reel 4.
- Calculate the number of winning way 1 x 2 x 3 x 1 = 6 ways to win.
- Multiply the number of ways by the 4 Ace symbol win and you get your win! So 6 x 15 coins = 90 coins.
Of course, the machine does this for you, but needless to say, the more symbols and double symbols you get, the bigger the multiplier on a way.
Scatters: Do not trigger the free spins, for once. These just pay whenever they show up, and are represented by a shoal of silvery fish.
3 will pay out 3x your total bet, 4 will pay 20x and 5 will pay 50x.
Free Spins Bonus: You need to get 5 jelly fish symbols, one on each of the reels, to trigger 10 free spins.
These reels are richer than the base game, with bigger and more frequent wins.
You can re-trigger the free spins with another 5 jellyfish, up to a total of 260 free spins... but just one re-trigger is rare enough, to be honest.
