WMS continues building their board game brand, with the Epic Monopoly 2 slot which has colossal reels and bonus features aplenty.
We have a confession to make; we are not huge fans of the colossal reels from WMS. For those of you who are asking what that is, you basically get two sets of reels, one that is 5 reels by 4 symbols high, the other that is 5 by 12 symbols high.
It’s a popular feature in many Williams Interactive games, including the likes of the Zeus 1000 and Spartacus slot.
Personally, we’ve never rated this featured highly. Considering you get 100 paylines, it usually makes the game incredibly slow, with the bonus features hard to catch, as the slot machine depends on the stacked symbols and stacked wilds to keep you occupied.

So we have hopes for this Epic Monopoly 2 slot machine; the original Epic Monopoly game isn’t available on mobile, but as far as we can see it’s an overall improvement, with more paylines and more features.
And features there are plenty of; if you get three bonus symbols anywhere across the 10 reels, you can win anything from a click me ‘go round the board game’ almost identical to the Monopoly Once Around slot (but with not quite the same wins), to free spins, to instant cash.
The problem is the amount of time you have to wait to get those bonus features, with no guarantee of any results higher than 8 times your bet.
There’s no doubt that the wins are here for the taking
But you’re more likely to catch them in the base game, than in the bonus features. This mostly due to the fact that most of the symbols come stacked, from 4 high to 8 high, allowing for some big multiple wins over 100 payline.
Add that if you get fully stacked wilds on the first set of reels, these transfer to the colossal reels, and you can get a multitude of wins that can make you hope for becoming a property tycoon.
But you need patience, and the love of these simple spins, rather than the bonus features – which are hard to catch and generally don’t pay much.
Personally, we prefer the Super Monopoly Money mobile slot, which is just as pretty but with more action, but those who love colossal reels won’t be able to stay away from this Epic Monopoly 2 video slot.

Epic Monopoly II Bonus Features
Wilds and Wild Transfers: The 'epic' symbol is wild and comes stacked throughout the two sets of reels. However, if you cover a whole reel on the 5x4 game (easier to do) the same reel will then turn wild on the 5x12 game.
The Bonus Wheel: The bonus symbol will only show up on reel 1, 3 and 5 of either sets of reels, but you only need 3 anywhere on screen to trigger the bonus wheel.
