Our relationship with Next Gen Games can be a little hit and miss. Some games, we love, others… well, not so much. We’ve been disappointed about the graphics, the sounds and the themes. We’ve been elated about the game play, the ease of navigation and the features. So what’s it going to be this time?
Coming out 15th of May, two of their slots will turn mobile for all to enjoy. So let’s have a good look and see our first thoughts:
Merlin’s Millions Mobile Slot:
A 5 reel, 4 rows, 50 lines slot we are excted about this release. One of the more popular Next Gen, this could be one for the books. It will features the Super Bet function where you can increase the win multipliers on the wilds . This come at a cost, but is one of the few games where you, as a slot player, can affect the volatility of the game. We hear the mobile version will include the Stacked wilds, a “pick me” bonus game, and free spins, so we are excited.
Mad Mad Monkey Mobile Slot:
One of what NextGen like to think of as a ‘classic’ hit – this is just another way of saying ‘old’. Its not a classic slot, in the 3 reel nudge and hold fruit machine sense, and it’s not quite a video slot with the features we’ve come to expect. The theme is funny enough, and with 5 reel, 4 rows and 50 lines we might get a few decent games out of it. We are told the features are hardly out of this world however, with a simple stacked wilds and free spins with tripled winnings. We will reserve our excitement for this game until we get a chance to review.
So conclusions? Merlin’s Million should be awesome and Mad Mad Monkey looks like just another ‘get it out of the door’ mobile slot for NextGen. Still, 50% are good odds in our book.
