How To Play Bars and 7s Mobile Slot
For such a simple game, this Bars and 7s slot has a lot going on, so it’s worth exploring all the different aspects hidden within these classic 5 reels before you walk away.
And when we say simple, we really mean simple. You have a total of 6 symbols on the board: one is a dash and pays nothing. Think of it as an empty space. Another is the scatter symbol that triggers the bonus. And finally, you have the joker wild that replaces other symbols.
That means that there’s a total of only 3 paying symbols on this paytable, spread over 5×3 reels and 10 paylines. That’s not a whole load of symbols, especially as one is a Bar, the other a 7 and the final one a big X.
Set against a dark black background, you could almost be forgiven for thinking that this will be a dull, boring little classic Bas and 7s slot. But you’ll be surprised.
This slot is all about Gambling
Seems like a stupid thing to say? Aren’t all slots about gambling? Well, yes, but this Bars and 7s online slot review takes it to a new level.
For one, before you spin you need to decide if you want the gamble button on or off. We suggest on, and here’s why: any win of 5% greater than your bet (or more) will automatically send you to a gambling game.
Here you get to spin two wheels – one will win you cash prizes, the other free spins. You can, at any point, gamble to get more of either, and on each successful gamble both values will increase.
It’s worth noting that we took the free spins most of the time, and generally managed to get at least 15 to 30 free spins each time. But we also couldn’t help but notice that it may be worth gambling for the money as the value is more than you can win in the free spins (or maybe our luck wasn’t on our side).
The Bars and 7s slot is a pretty easy going affair
Look, if you win 500x your bet you’ll be laughing. And generally, you would have won it by triggering the Pot Bonus, which lets’ your win one of three in-game jackpots.
Bars and 7s is not hard-hitting or has major wins. If you get 100x your bet in the free spins, walk away and go play on the Sticky Joker slot game, to try and up your game wins.
But we like how everything here is a gamble. From gambling your wins to get the free spins, to gambling to get the jackpots, to gambling to get more spins to get more free spins during the bonus game.
There’s something about the online casino player in us that loves a slot that recognises that the real thrill is in the chase and the rush of the unexpected. We have have been tempted to give it an extra star if the 2x multiplier in the free spins was constantly there, rather than just from time to time on random spins.
It may not be quite as slick as the Blood Lust slot, but if you’re into uncomplicated classics, there’s something to love here.

Bars and 7s Bonus Features
Wild: The joker is the wild symbol and will replace any other symbol in order to create a win over this 10 payline slot machine. It will not replace the BONUS symbols.
Bonus Symbol: You have 5 bonus scatter symbol that spells out BONUS - one letter in each reel. Land each of the letters on each of the reels to win either free spins or a pots bonus.
Free Spins:
If you get the free spins bonus, you'll pick from the 5 scatters to find out if you get 1, 2 or 3 spins. These spins aren't on the reels, but on a wheel of fortune. This wheel will decide the available number of spins you play, and you get to spin it 1, 2 or 3 times depending on what you uncovered in the first place.
The number of free spins available on the wheel are 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25. These are added together if you get to spin it more than once.
During the free spins there is a chance that a 2x multiplier will become active on any one spin. You can also re-trigger the free spins within the Bars and 7s bonus games.
Pots Bonus:
If you get the Pots bonus, you'll be taken to a different screen to determine which pot of cash you've won. You get three wheels with Minor, Major or Grand segment, each representing a jackpot.
- Minor: 50x your bet
- Major: 200x your bet
- Grand: 500x your bet
You keep spinning the wheels until three segments of any one of the three jackpots is completely full. You'll then win that specific jackpot.
Gamble Feature: You can either turn this on or off. If you turn it on, any win will offer the gamble feature. You'll spin a wheel and get a 50/50 chance of losing or winning double your bet back.
But you can also turn the gamble feature to only be on if the win is greater than or equal to 5x your bet. This will give you an extra chance to catch free spins.
Here you get two wheels, in one you gamble to get more free spins, in the other the cash amount you can win will increase. If you gamble, you'll get anything up to 30 free spins. If you lose at any point on any wheel, you lose the initial win that got you into this mini-game in the first place.
You can collect your cash award, or any free spins won, at any time before you gamble more.
Spin Chance: If your credit is reduced to below your current price of play, but greater than Zero, you trigger this bonus. This will allow you to spin a pointer in a wheel - if it lands on the green, you'll win an extra spin at the current bet level. If the pointed lands on red, you'll lose all your remaining credit. It's a last bet hail-mary type of a min-game and you don't have to play it if you don't want to.
