Whilst we wait for the interesting looking Archangel Salvation slot coming 24th of April, we’ve got a little sneak-peek into the new NetEnt slot coming out in May.
Because half the fun of playing on mobile slots is trying to keep up with all future slots… right…?… Wrong?
Oh. Ok. Whatever. We’re going to talk about it anyway cause we can, and because nothing makes us happier than to try and guess the next big slots of 2018.
You can just watch the video and go play NetEnt casinos if you want.
Everything we know about new Lost Relics Slot
Indiana Jones eat your heart out, cause Indiana Joan is coming to bring the adventure back to your small screen.
What did you think of the theme?

It’s not massively unique, adventure slots happen a lot: from the popular Book of Dead to the old Tomb Raider slot to Jungle Jim by Microgaming.
But that’s not to say that there’s not some fun graphics and sounds here.
And sure, there’s no real connection to the Indiana films, but tell us that the score here doesn’t automatically remind you of the Raiders theme by John Williams.
So already you have a real sense of anticipation, with the stones cluster exploding in a satisfying crunch as each symbol is drawn from an ancient civilisation.
What are the vital statistics of this casino game?
If you read nothing else about this Lost Relics game preview, then at least take a glance at the highlights.

Is this the return of the great adventure slot?
NetEnt’s last really famous adventure game is the great Gonzo’s Quest phone slot.
But to be honest, whilst we know they can create a good theme, that’s not what really makes a great slot machine.
The reason why Gonzo is still so popular is that it mixes a great theme with great game mechanics, and gave you that real feeling of adventure.
By that we mean you had pant-wetting moments of terror when you felt like you were lost in the jungle, only to suddenly turn things around and have you chasing the biggest treasure in the temple.
Can this Lost Relics slot ever reach those heights? Here are our thoughts after watching the video, and looking at the stats.
3 things we are probably going to love?
First of all, we love that the theme and the features match well. This is all about seeking hidden treasure, so what better way to get the features than by uncovering treasure hiding behind the wins?

Second, that hidden treasure chest really ramps up the possibility of wins during the free spin bonus round. After all, there are 3 sizes of chests (small, medium and large) and the more chests you uncover, the better the prizes.
Thirdly you have an amazing betting range, ranging from the very achievable 0.20 a spin to a huge 400 a spin. You’ve got to love any video slot online that is accessible to all, regardless of your budget.
3 things that make us worry about this Lost Relics game
We know we are probably not in the majority, but, we’ve not been massive fans of the cluster pay slots by NetEnt so far.
The Legend of Shangri La was a little more fun than Aloha Cluster Pays, but they are (ultimately) low paying, easy playing, games that are a little too slow to be truly great.
It’s not like all ways pays games from Play’n GO, like Sweet Alchemy and Gemix, which has so many features you rarely get a chance to be bored. We can only hope Lost Relics ramps up the action a little bit.
Secondly, the max win here is only around 300 times your bet, which again, seems to imply a fairly low variance slot. Not a problem in itself, but if those treasures hiding behind the wins don’t come quick and often, this will get boring quick.
Finally, whilst this is a good theme, it’s not a unique one like their beautiful Asgardian Stones. So NetEnt had better bring their A-game with their game mechanics to get extra points from us.
Are we excited for the 24th of May slot release?
Like we said, we’ve yet to LOVE cluster pay slots by NetEntertainment. We like them ok, but love? Not quite.
And perhaps, on this occasion we are in the minority: after all, they wouldn’t keep making them if a fair few people out there didn’t keep playing them.
But for our money, we are probably still more excited about the new Jumanji slot coming out in June than this Lost Relics game coming next month.
Plenty of new NetEnt games to prove us wrong
Are you a fan of the two main cluster play games we mentioned above? If you’re not sure, you should give them a spin and see what the fuss is about.
Or perhaps play on some of the better 2017/2018 slot releases by this provider that proves that NetEnt still knows how to make great games.
Like the Emoji Planet slot, also a 5×5 grid slot with has “kinda” cluster pays, and which truly hit all the right notes. Or even Asgardian Stones which has some fun and unique mechanics.
Until the release of Archangels Salvation or Lost Relics, there’s plenty of great games (and great casino bonuses) to enjoy at our top NetEnt casino.
